2007-2010

The dawn of 2007 saw the acquisition of the Austrian market leader in hospital information systems, Systema. The acquisition of Systema made CompuGroup the first, and to this date the only, complete supplier of eHealth solutions. A joint venture with Turkish Tepe increased CompuGroup's presence in the EMEA combined with the acquisition of Tipdata Medical Software also based in Turkey.

Going Global

Besides increasing its dominance in the German and Austrian market 2008 was the year that CompuGroup went global. Via the acquisition of the leading Scandinavian supplier in eHealth, Profdoc, CompuGroup also gained presence in South Africa, Greece, and Malaysia. In 2009, CompuGroup bought the US based company Noteworthy Medical Systems Inc. increasing its presence to four continents.

The Outlook

Since entering the US market CompuGroup has further cemented its presence in Italy, France and Germany. The solid global position of CompuGroup Medical holds great promises for the future of the company. The eHealth industry is forecasted to continue its growth in the coming years and CompuGroup Medical is ready and able to meet the future demands of the industry!
