ePortal

The ePortal by CompuGroup Medical is an easy way to access your practitioner or your own health data. The recently launched solution in Denmark at www.besøglægen.dk combines several features that makes interaction with the GP much easier.

Free Website

The solution offers a website to the practice for free. The practitioner can choose from a wide range of website templates that are designed for te use by a clinic. This website contains information about the clinical staff, the opening hours and much more. This website can also be used to notify patients about opening hours in holidays or which days the practice is closed.

eBooking

One of the features also included in the ePortal is the possiblity to make eBookings. This way the patient can via a secure log-in book a time at the GP's office and see which times are available. The doctor then approves the appointment and this way saving time for the patient as well as the secretary at the practice.

Prescription Renewal

Another feature covered by the ePortal is the possibility to request a prescription renewal online. This is a valuable tool for patients who are continously on medication as they do not have to go to the GP's office in order to obtain a prescription renewal. The patient can via a secure log-on to the ePortal access an overview of his or her medication and renew the prescription. The doctor can then approve the request and the patient can obatain the medication at the nearest pharmacy. Easy, convenient and time-saving!

eConsultation

Another innovative possibility with the ePortal is the option to have an eConsultation. This solutions offers the patient and practitioner the option of have a consultation via e-mail. Thus, the patient defines in own terms the problems or situation, which the doctor then responds to. This innovative solution is now implemented in Denmark but we expect that this will also be used in several other countries in the near future.
